This course is aimed at teachers of English who are preparing their students to take the IELTS test.

It will focus mainly on the 4 skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and questions relating to IELTS teaching in the local context. The course will include a combination of online tasks as preparation for live workshops in which participants will be introduced to practical teaching ideas/strategies which they can incorporate into their own lessons. Each day will conclude with time for (asynchronous) reflection/discussion, during which participants can post questions or share ideas with the group. The course will conclude with an open session for questions and clarification together with course feedback.
